Report of the Superintendent’s Task Force on Student Stress

posted Jun 3, 2016, 8:51 AM by Holliston Public Schools
In response to data that showed a significant number of Holliston students were reporting high (and
perhaps unhealthy) levels of stress in their daily lives, Superintendent of Schools Bradford Jackson formed a Task Force to study the issue.

Comprised of 25 Holliston teachers, administrators, parents and students, this Task Force met from mid-Fall 2015 through late-Spring 2016, surveyed over 1250 Holliston students and issued 19 separate recommendations aimed to reduce student stress.

While the Task Force’s Final Report to the Community is still being compiled and edited, the Task Force presented its 19 recommendations to the Holliston School Committee on June 2, 2016.
