The following policies have been put in place to ensure the health and safety of children requiring medication during the school day.
The Holliston Public Schools require that a Medication Order/Parental Consent Form be on file in the Health Office before any medication is given in school. The form includes:
Medicines should be delivered to the school in a pharmacy or manufacturer labeled container by a parent/guardian or their responsible adult designee. Please ask you pharmacy to provide separate bottles for school and home. No more than thirty-day supply of the medicine should be delivered to school. When your child needs a medicine to be given during the school day, please act quickly to follow these policies so we may began to give the medicine as soon as possible.
Please contact Peg Coleman, RN, School Nurse for further assistance.
