Wampanoag Native American Webquest

Introduction:

You have just found out some of your ancestors were Wampanoag Indians and you would like to gather information to share with your family about the Wampanoag past.

Task: To create a Wampanoag Scrap book explaining the basic elements of the Wampanoag life. We will try to answer the following questions:

  1. Who were the Wampanoags

  2. What type of food did they eat?

  3. What weapons and tools did they use?

  4. What type of clothing did the Wampanoag wear

  5. What was  life for a Wampanoag child?

  6. What type of homes did they live in?

  7. How did they travel?

  8. What types of arts and crafts did they make?

  9. Challenge page- Worksheet only - How did they make their clothing?

 Process:

Together with a partner read the history of the Wampanoag Indians.

Work together to answer the questions above and complete your Wampanoag scrapbook.

Remember to write neatly and draw carefully so you can show your family your best work.
